Right so to recap on the uniform bit then!!!

M43 ski cap
Gray shirt Black tie
Heer panzer wrap and trews
Pink piped shoulder boards with SgtM rank and GD in silver colour
Deaths head on collars
Belt and Heer buckle
Jackboots

MP40 and some form of sidearm
MP40 canvas and leather pouches

The rest of my kit brewed up along with me Tiger2!!

Would like to wear a couple of awards for authenticity....what would they be? Tank assault??

Any links to some good kit would be appreciated!

You'll want a GD cufftitle too.

Award wise a wound badge is a safe one, that and panzer assault would look ok without being over the top.

I have a spare GD cuff title - silver script on black wool, which is probably best suited to Panzer uniforms anyway. Free to a loving home! PM me your name and address.

Well, it's said to be 15cm from the bottom of the sleeve (and clearing any pleats) - but I have seen pictures of them a lot higher than that. Right hand sleeve, too!

But 15 cm is the correct way to wear it.

By the way, BEVO is a material Adler und Ärmelbänder can be made of, it´s synthetic fabric, and hell I hade to sew this on uniforms! But it ist authentic.
I have a "Reichschule SS" cuff, it was just available in BEVO...

Hi,
15cm is correct, so it is written in the "Reibert" handbook, for EM and NCOs, the officers had it very often much higher....

Seconded! I hate sewing BeVo insignia (cut, fold, glue, swear, throw out of window, replace, repeat (x 3) finally sew on!) RZM type is just soooooo much easier.

Sadly, I cant really get away with RZM on my M44 tunic :(

When we were an Empire it was run by an Empress
Now we're a country we're run by a..........

Hi Kermit,
you are right, I buyed a new M 43 tunic made from italian wool for late war impression and it is he same, I can wear it with the RZM stle, BEVO looks much more realistic, but I know, like my wife, what do you mean by this, I dont know how many f...... BEVO eagles I have destroyed in my live...

Hell, BEVO once I made the misstake an try to sew on a BEVO cuff by maschine...
I do a lot of handwork, but I never expected tha a fu*ing piece of fabric can buckle like that...

And I think the stiched cuffs look much more precious.

Good idea, BUT a group would need a cuff title and we would probably only be able to get it in BeVo so non of us would sew it on.
